This Batwing stunt drone swoops and rolls just like in the films

The drone reaches speeds of 30mph with a 200ft range, but only flies for eight minutes

What’s cooler than a stunt drone? A stunt drone that looks just like the Batwing.

Toy maker Propel has partnered with DC Entertainment to create a drone shaped to resemble the Batman symbol. The drone can swoop, roll and fly via remote control.

Made of lightweight ABS plastic, the drone has a 6-axis gyro for optimal stability in rain and wind. It has a multidirectional control system and can reach speeds of 30mph over a range of 200ft, which can be tracked using a built-in altitude sensor.

Elsewhere, the drone – which can roll 360 degrees – features an HD camera to take photos and videos in 720p resolution. These recordings can also be streamed through phones using Bluetooth.

The drone itself measures just 3.7 inches by 4 inches, meaning it fits in your palm, and uses low-noise drone technology to be used both indoors and out.

However, like many other small and lightweight drones on the market, the flight time is only eight minutes and takes up to 40 minutes to charge again, so the stunts will be short lived.

Batwing costs £79.99 and can be bought at Batwingdrone.com.
