Much like Master Yoda, this little device packs a lot of punch. (As the wise creature once said, “Size matters not.”) Slightly over four inches tall, DJI’s three-axis camera gimbal captures 12-megapixel still images and 4K video at up to 60 frames per second. Its new FaceTrack feature enables the on-camera device to identify a human face and lock it in frame. It costs $349 and ships next month. There’s just one catch: Waterproof, it is not. LOrealL’Oréal’s New Clip-on Sensor Tracks Your Exposure to UV Rays
L’Oreal brand La Roche-Posay released a tiny, clip-on sensor that measures your exposure to UV radiation, a form of radiation that’s a known cause of skin cancer. My Skin Track UV uses a combo of passive electronic components and near-field communication (read: no battery, no Bluetooth) to track UV photons and send notifications when your exposure levels are high.
