Avengers: Infinity War shattered records—but is it the MCU’s all-time best performer?

Infinity War spent its first weekend HULK-SMASHING previous opening weekend box office records. Bringing in $258 million domestically and $641 million worldwide (without China, no less), it has the largest opening ever, everywhere. And Black Panther is still in the game, coming in at number five the same weekend. So far, the 19 Marvel Cinematic Universe films have earned almost $15.5 billion at the box office.
