*It's pretty gray and somber around here. Mostly because I tend to toss the imagery I discover into Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Flickr/SmugMug, and Ello.
*Recently I've discovered that no image I myself can create will ever compete with the popularity of smartphone-ready memes. Viral content is just vastly more viral than the arcane, premonitory, niche stuff that I find of genuine interest. I could probably make a few memes myself – I kind of like buzzwords, neologisms and catchy slogans – but I could get into wall-tagging and stencil art, too. Why, though? Where is the benefit?
