EU BUBBLE BANDS PART 2
In last week’s Playbook Plus we reported on Tigers of Eden, Toy Division and Dynamo Schaerbeek, who are heating up the EU bubble live music scene. They’re competing against Qualified Majority — which pulls in a mostly Hungarian audience — and The Funktionnaires (made up of mostly British and Dutch diplomats). Then there’s former Brussels Playbook editor Craig Winneker’s The Basement Apes and also Take This. Last but not least there’s Nicotin, featuring the Council of the EU’s Simon Coates. If you are ready to brave the Eurocrats and Eurolobby, you can catch Dynamo Schaerbeek and Toy Division playing a double bill at the Crazy Circle bar (on Rue du Prince Royal 11) this Saturday, December 2, from 10 p.m. The packaging industry boy band “The Bottle Boys” are in town Tuesday December 5 to rock the 40th anniversary party of FEVE, the European Container Glass Federation.
