"Big Tech"

*They were never gonna be the darlings under a Trump Administration, but yeah, these are sinister developments for The Industry. Especially in areas outside the USA, where their critics will be emboldened by their evident internal disarray on the home ground.

*It's not about the money, which they have plenty of. It's about the culture, which they used to exemplify all by themselves.

All this talk about Big Tech might seem like simply a reflection of just how powerful and important companies such as Google, Facebook, and Amazon have become. But it’s also an ominous sign for the industry at a time when online platforms have come under scrutiny more intense than they has ever experienced before.
