*I enjoy kinetic art, but this kinetic luminous screen art by Prof Varisco really hit some tech-artsy peak of inspired gadgeteering. Every time I look at one of these Varisco moire devices of the 1960s, I feel a powerful urge to make one. Very few artworks have that effect on me.
*One might say, "Oh well, a few lines of Processing code will put that moving image on a screen any time you like," but the fact that it's an art device, a silent analog machine with mass and dimension, well, that matters for some reason that I can't clarify.
