Neanderthal cuisine

*Prehistoric Homo sapiens were a lot less "primitive" than old-fashioned "cave man" imagery would suggest to us. I don't doubt that there were early hominids who had tangled hair, clubs and rude leather clothing, while speaking mostly in grunts, but Neanderthals were not that kind of being. The Neanderthals had jewelry, they had funeral rituals. Not only did they cook and appreciate flavors, they probably danced, sang and were keen on animistic religion.
