Evan Lubofsky is a journalist, science writer, and executive editor of Oceanus magazine at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. His work has appeared in WIRED, The Verge, Smithsonian Magazine, Hakai Magazine, and Oceanus, where he’s known for translating complex research on ocean ecosystems, marine biology, robotics, and subsea infrastructure into compelling, accessible stories. Based in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Lubofsky's acclaimed WIRED feature “A Son Is Rescued at Sea. But What Happened to His Mother?” is in development as a documentary for Netflix.
