Brenda Stolyar is a former product writer and reviewer at WIRED, where she specialized in a wide range of consumer tech products, including laptops, tablets, desktop PCs, smart home devices, and beauty gadgets. Before joining the Gear Team, she reviewed consumer electronics at Mashable, PCMag, and Digital Trends. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Rutgers University and lives in New York City.
