Alana Hope Levinson is a magazine writer/editor interested in digital culture, trends, design, and gender. Her work has appeared in New York Magazine, GQ, Vogue, Dwell, and Rolling Stone, among others. As an editor, she specializes in launching new publications, having developed editorial at Medium and the critically acclaimed men’s lifestyle publication MEL. For the past five years, she's run her own consultancy, launching print publications (100 Battles, Good Tape), podcasts (The Outfit), and newsletters (I Think We're Alone Now by Tegan & Sara). While getting her master’s in journalism at UC Berkeley, she was the Felker Magazine Fellow and the school's first student to make their own publication. Alana lives in Los Angeles with her husband, art director Raffi Lehrer, and her dog, Carmela Soprano-Levinson.
