Zombie-fighters open fire on prime time in October when The Walking Dead returns for 13 more episodes, AMC announced Thursday in San Diego.

Capitalizing on the series’ success, Walking Dead companion merchandise aims for the zombie demo at Comic-Con International. Related projects include Abrams Publishing’s The Walking Dead Chronicles, set for fall release, and Halloween costumes aimed at fans who want to dress up like a bloodthirsty ghoul or series hero Rick Grimes.
