Friends and family of Brian Wood, a game developer who recently died in a car accident, established a memorial trust Thursday to aid the wife and unborn child that the 33-year-old gamemaker left behind.
Wood was killed Friday in a head-on collision that took the lives of three. Wood's pregnant wife was in the back seat of the vehicle he was driving, but survived the collision and is now at home with family.
Wood, an employee of Relic Entertainment, was the lead designer of the real-time strategy game Company of Heroes. Prior to his death, Wood was working on a new free-to-play version of the game called Company of Heroes Online.
Donations to the Brian Wood Memorial Trust can be made via PayPal or check.
