Plenty of Lost fans understood why they experienced déjà vu while watching the opening scene from Tuesday's season premiere, but only Neil Pomerleau took the time to whip up a side-by-side YouTube comparison.
Played in parallel, the clips demonstrate that the dialogue, gestures, haircuts and costuming in Season 6 opener "LA X: Part 1" represent a near-identical replay of the opening scenes from 2004's pilot episode.
Both takes show a clean-shaven Jack (played by Matthew Fox) exchanging pleasantries with a stewardess as fateful Oceanic Flight 815 begins to get wobbly.
