John Locke, Lost ‘s resident knife-wielding guru, will be the focus of Tuesday’s episode, “The Substitute.” And, given recent turns of events, that probably means we’ll see more of Smokey, the mysterious black smoke monster that’s terrified those trapped on the island.
In a slightly spoilery interview with New York ‘s Vulture blog, actor Terry O’Quinn reveals a little bit about what’s going on with the character he portrays.
“Locke doesn’t have any tricks,” O’Quinn said. “John Locke is dead. The smoke monster has a new trick, where he can turn into Locke.”
