Lost Contest Offers Piece of the Island

lost_island_350Makers of the Lost: Unraveling the Mystery documentary are giving away 10 plots of land on the actual Hawaiian island where ABC’s time-traveling cliffhanger is filmed.

Don’t get too excited: Each piece of land is only 10 inches square. Still, title to the property, grouped together in a “theme” garden, would likely be highly prized by any die-hard fan of the Oceanic Six as the show prepares to kick off its final season Feb. 2.

To qualify for the land grab, visitors need to predict Lost ‘s outcome at the documentary’s website. The Lost: How Will It End? competition, which runs through Feb. 16, poses key questions including: Who dies? Who ends up with Kate? What’s the final scene? Answers will be judged by members of Lost ‘s online community.

The $15 Lost: Unraveling the Mystery DVD includes an interactive game produced by Richard Halpern, who said in a statement: “We wanted to create a contest that would stir up controversy and bend people’s minds in the way Lost does.”
