When SecDef Bob Gates addresses the Economic Club of Chicago tomorrow, he’ll demand that Congress cut off funding for gaudy, platinum-plated weapons systems like the F-22 stealth fighter, the VH-71 helicopter… and of course, the M-423 Dragon Tank. Opponents are crying foul over the defunding of this weapons platform, “essential to maintaining America’s military advantage.” Here’s a video preview of the speech:
