Suddenly, the double bill of Jay-Z and Eminem at Activision's E3 party earlier this year makes way more sense.

On Wednesday, Activision unveiled the DJ Hero Renegade Edition Featuring Jay-Z and Eminem. This premium package includes a DJ Hero turntable controller enhanced with a premium metal finish, a hard-shell carrying case that doubles as a portable stand and a 2-CD bonus pack featuring unreleased songs by Jay-Z and Eminem with packaging designed by Shepard Fairey.

The name of this special edition is a nod to the song "Renegade" from Jay-Z's 2001 record The Blueprint, in which both Jay-Z and Eminem perform. Let's all hope the game doesn't feature a mash-up that mixes the Jay-Z Eminem collaboration with the Styx tune of the same name.
