We know internet time is fast fast fast but when you have to ask yourself "Where are they now?" when "then" was a year ago or so, well, you do have to wonder.
Silicon Alley Insider has tracked down (and for some that's a stretch) a bunch of video pioneers that aren't doing what they used to do, and we have to admit we were wondering about a lot of them after all.
Some of are from projects that soared/crashed/burned quickly, and as recently as 2008, like Julie Alexandria. Some made a huge splash, like Lonelygirl15. Others harken back into the innocent, halcyon internet days of yore when a young Dickson College co-ed got the whole video lifecasting thing started. Gee, thanks Jennifer Ringley — wait, you don't remember JenniCam?!
