AUSTIN, Texas -- One of the coolest pieces of swag to be found in the official South by Southwest Interactive tote bag is this iPod/iPhone case, a knit sock that keeps your Apple gadget cozy in Austin's freezing drizzle.
But the iPhone sock comes courtesy of Adobe Systems. Ironic, considering the case is meant to hold a device currently incapable of running Adobe's hallmark software, the Flash Player.
Maybe it's a sign that the new iPhone 3.0 software upgrade Apple plans to showcase during a special event March 17 will include support for Adobe's media player.

There's also some cool Crumpler gear -- cases vary from bag to bag, but most are meant for smartphones or for clipping under a bike seat -- and a microfiber cloth for wiping those smudges of face grease off your touchscreen gadget of choice.
Volunteers Kristin Ross of Midland, Texas, and Britny Morris of Austin were hard at work Thursday night stuffing bags. Each part of the conference -- Interactive, Music and Film -- has its own tote bag and its own collection of industry-specific giveaways.
