I think that being away from the connected world for three weeks will take more than three weeks to catch up ... not sure how that works.
Anyway ... this is probably all literally yesterday's news to you all, but here are a few things from my feed reader and delicious network that caught my eye. This list is quite random and not in any topical, chronological, or any other order:
- February Accretionary Wedge about geologists ultimate list of places/events was hosted by Geotripper
- Ron wants a geology layer on GoogleEarth ... I need to read this post
- Great post from Michael Welland about zircons and why they are awesome
- "Depth or Breadth in Science Education" -- from NeuraLogica Blog
- Sand dunes in Nature (via Ripples in Sand)
- San Francisco historians condemn 1906 earthquake deniers (via NOVA Geoblog)
- International Commission on Stratigraphy (ICS) site gets a makeover (via stratigraphy.net)
- Taking navel contemplation to new levels
- Some facts and figures to remember when considering non-hydrocarbon energy sources
- Check out Zoltan's gigapan of the Paine Massif

- Kim is at ScienceBlogs now
It might take me a bit to get back into the swing of blogging ... stay tuned.
