I admit, I haven’t been paying much attention to the upcoming Ghostbusters game, but after seeing this trailer, I’m suddenly very excited for the multi-platform action title.
Including a short clip directly from the film series was a smart move on Atari’s part: The virtual Ivan Reitman and electronic Dan Aykroyd seen moments later are startlingly lifelike compared to their reality-based counterparts.
I still question how well Bill Murray’s unkempt charm will translate to the world of gaming — will there be a button combination expressly labeled "seduce Sigourney Weaver?" — but on the aesthetic front things seem to be shaping up nicely.
Ghostbusters lands on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC later this year, with versions for the PlayStation 2, Wii and Nintendo DS also in production.
