Developer Cryptic Studios has unveiled four new screenshots from its upcoming massively multiplayer online title Star Trek Online.
Alongside the now-standard images of ships and deep space, Cryptic also issued screenshots of one of the game's interiors and the surface of a planet, as viewed from ground level.
The game itself is still a ways from release -- in fact, the developers have yet to issue a release date or timeframe -- but the intermittent images Cryptic sends out are becoming more and more impressive. If they can walk the fine line between entertaining, easily grasped and addictive when designing the gameplay, this game might appeal to more than just the built-in Star Trek fanbase.
