Atlus announced Tokyo Beat Down, a DS game that mixes old-school Final Fight-style action with lots of humor, Friday morning. You'll be playing as a squad of "Beast Cops," Tokyo's toughest police. Do they use unnecessary force? Certainly. But they get the job done.

The game originally came out in Japan this past September, although I had never heard of it at all before this morning. Any importers out there who want to share impressions?

Tokyo Beat Down will ship on March 10.
