Video: Japan's Brilliant Harvest Moon Ads

I’m not going to lie and say I have any idea what’s going on in these Japanese ads for Harvest Moon: Animal March, but I will adamantly insist that I truly love them.

The game itself hits Japanese shores at the end of October, and it’s unknown if it will head to America, but even if we never see the game itself, the hilariously deadpan puppet show spawned by its marketing drive should prove massively entertaining for the entirety of the ‘net’s vast population for months to come.

Personally, I like to imagine that these anthropomorphicized hand puppets are having a very serious discussion about the degradation of the U.S. economy. Then, when the frog puppet jumps on top of the cow puppet, the whole thing becomes a hilariously surreal reenactment of any session of Congress over the last few months.
