Nintendo's planning something for Thursday morning involving the East Coast, Kirby and "an extraordinary celestial event."

Sadly, the press release issued by the firm contains more questions than answers:

Authorities at Nintendo are forecasting an extraordinary celestial event this season. Expected to be visible on Sept. 18, this eye-popping occurrence will be best viewed from a handful of specific U.S.
locations. Experts are still deliberating over the scientific significance of this rare phenomenon, but evidence points clearly to the reemergence of a luminous entity that citizens from all walks of life will appreciate.

No one I've contacted who received the email seems to have any clue as to what the company has planned, but if you attend, please let those of us on the west side of the country know what went down.
