Tetsuya Mizuguchi's rhythm puzzle game Lumines is coming to yet another platform, this time the PlayStation 3.
Lumines Supernova comes out this fall as a downloadable title on the PlayStation Store, and although most of the gameplay will remain intact, it will introduce new skins and a couple of new game modes.
In "Dig Down," you'll start with a screen already filled with blocks, with the goal of digging yourself down to the bottom. A new sequencer mode will let you create new background music that you can listen to while playing, using sound loops found in a "Sound Bank."
Pricing has yet to be revealed, but I'm guessing they won't make the same mistake they did when Lumines Live was released on Xbox Live Arcade.
