Colorado's Spot Brand Bicycles, which won Interbike's best of show in 2007 for a belt-driven bike, showed up this year with a fancy new Titanium model.
The as-yet-unnamed Titanium single-speed features a super-strong, no-maintenance polyurethane belt drive from Gates Carbon Drive Sytems and a 29-inch front wheel.
"It's quiet. It's clean. I like it," said T.R. Maloney, a bike enthusiast who was admiring the bike at Spot's booth. "It is a little more approachable."
The Spot frame retails for about $2,800, or decked out for about $5,500.
