July is usually the warmest month in the Northern Hemisphere, and the world of gadgets matched the weather with new gadgets burning up the Lab with their hotness.
Yes, it was a month heavily dominated by the release of the iPhone 3G and its various triumphs and pratfalls, but there was plenty of other good stuff to check out. Nike's botched attempt at releasing fake McFly's, the continuing march of the new mini-notebooks, and Roku's new Netflix streamer are only a few of the satisfying stew of gadgets we've covered.
