LOS ANGELES -- He might not have any of his own hardcore games to show, but Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime was eager to check out Electronic Arts' first-person parkour game Mirror's Edge.
Actually, EA kicked me off the machine so he could play. "I see how it is," I said.
"There are certain privileges..." he responded.
I'm not bitter. Okay, maybe a little. Mirror's Edge was great, or what I played of it. The thing I like the best is that the game's entire HUD is a tiny dot. When the dot is blue, you can slow down time. When it's white, you can't. Otherwise, it just serves as a focal point to let you know where you're going as you jump from building to building.
