In Woke Up Dead, Jon Heder will play a USC student who comes to in a tub full of water worried that he might be, technically, kaput.
Formatted as 50 three-minute episodes set for online and mobile distribution, Dead marks the first live action web series from Electric Farm Entertainment. Last year the company introduced end-of-the-world animated web series AfterWorld. The company is also working on the upcoming Gemini Division, which will star Rosario Dawson.
The *Dead *project was designed especially for Heder, famously nerdy as *Napoleon Dynamite * (pictured). Electric Farm boss Stan Rogow told Hollywood Reporter, "Jon's always wanted to play a zombie."
