When it comes to podcasts, what’s on your iPod? (or Zune, or iRiver, we GeekDads are cool that way.) Here’s a roundup of awesome ‘casts that we on the blog have enjoyed.
Note: We make no assurances on child-friendliness of content. If that sort of thing is a concern, you might want to investigate before you hit play!
I want to start off with geek dad and friend-of-the-blog Ed Healy’s new RPG podcast Atomic Array: Games that will blow your mind. The inaugural episode is scheduled for July 4th, featuring Colonial Gothic by Rogue Games.
Next, here are some podcasts featured right here on Wired.com:
The GeekDads: Dan, Ken, Russ and Brian talk about geeky daddy posts that have appeared on the blog. HipTrax: Ken and Z talk nerdy music. Note, you can access these podcasts right here on the GeekDad Blog. Also Z has his own podcast on the side, Radio Free Hipster.
Wired’s Gadget Lab, and yiou can listen to posts right on the blog page. Our Game/Life blog has a video podcast and Alt Text has a podcast, but I think you have to sign up for those through iTunes or some other podcast aggregator. Finally, definitely check out Hopkinson Report, a fast-paced and funny marketing podcast by Wired.com’s marketing guy Jim Hopkinson.
