The first TV commercial for Street Fighter IV aired during Saturday’s airing of EliteXC Saturday Night Fights, and featured a heavy dose of gameplay, and music in the form of 90’s alterna-metal band Faith No More’s "Epic."
It’s interesting to see the use of music from Mike Patton’s old band, considering that he’s voicing the main character in another return of a classic Capcom property, the upcoming next-gen Bionic Commando sequel.
In other SFIV news, the game’s official site launched over the weekend, and we now know a few more things about the console version of the game: It will include online support for battles, and some new characters that won’t appear in the arcade version. At least two of those characters will be Fei Long and Dan Hibiki (introduced in Street Fighter Alpha).
