Someone at Odyssey took the expression "the devil is in the details" a little too seriously. The XG Sabertooth incorporates horned counterweights that give the putter's head an undeniably satanic silhouette. Contact is unbelievably soft. But that softness — due in large part to the White Hot XG insert — is the putter's undoing. Long shots are just that; we practically had to take a full swing on anything longer than 30 feet, losing a great degree of control in the process.
