This is so obvious, we have absolutely no idea why it doesn't already exist. The Knight Rider GPS is an in-car unit which delivers turn by turn instructions in the genuine voice of KITT, aka voice actor William Daniels.
The GPS box, from satnav maker Mio, also spices things up with a pair of sweeping red LEDs on either side of the console, but for us this verges on the tacky. Better would be a replica of KITT's control panel. According to Autoblog, the unit will actually ask "Hello Michael, where do you want to go today?" when powered up. Amazing in itself, and possibly cool enough to make me roll up the sleeves of my leather jacket and change my name to Michael. And maybe buy a car.
It's not out yet, but will be $270 when available.
