While we were initially skeptical when we pulled them out of the box, as we put the Microedge through the paces it won our respect. Though somewhat dark, the specs performed well in bright conditions on the road. The flexible lens was resilient and nearly unbreakable — if quite easily marked up. Thanks to flexible temples with soft rubberized padding, they were nice and comfy. And though they're prone to smudging, the removable nosepiece makes them easy to clean. In short, although they didn't excel in any category, these specs were ultimately well-rounded performers and deliver good value for the money.

Flexible temples and nosepiece ensured a great fit on the face. Stood up well to being stuffed in jersey pocket and sat upon. Vents on sides of lens kept fog in San Francisco Bay, and not on our face. Lightweight at 28 grams.
TIRED
Boo-Hoo: These were the only shades that let our eyes tear up at high speed. Prone to sliding down when your honker starts sweating. Lenses attracted oil like an otter in Prince William Sound. Soft lens easily scratched.
