Well, they finally did it. After shaving back Virtual Console's release schedule bit by bit, Nintendo of America finally has a release week of zero games.
Yes, of course it's because WiiWare launched today, but you know it's more of a convenient excuse than anything. Nintendo says Virtual Console will be "back to its regular Monday schedule" next week, so hopefully this is the only zero-game week ever.
Japan's retrogamers, meanwhile, get* Bubble Bobble* (Famicom), Alex Kidd in Miracle World (Master System), and Martial Champion (PC Engine CD). The latter is a Street Fighter II ripoff by Konami, which I am excited to try. I'm sure it's just awful.
