Although BandsEyeView's website looks like it was designed in '96, it provides helpful information for artists trying to tell the difference between the various indie music sites and distributors out there vying to distribute their music.
So far, the site contains simple, bullet-point reviews of 15 indie distributors, including CD Baby, Indie 911 and OurStage. Only two categories are taken into account: what the site can do for you, and what they charge in return.

BandsEyeView is only just getting off the ground, but already there'sone helpful tool designed to help bands find the right site for them. A
filter lets you pick between 12 potentially-offered services and 3 types ofpaying for them, spitting out a list of sites that match what you'relooking for. Bands can submit reviews of sites they've used to distribute their tunes, which should help grow the reviews database.
