I haven't seen any pictures yet of the French commandos that raided Somali pirates on Friday. But one reader sent in photos of French troops conducting "anti-piracy boarding" exercises on the USS Laboon destroyer last year. Should give you a fairly accurate sense of what those pirates saw the moment the *merde *hit the fan.
