Electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk play the main stage at the Coachella on Saturday night.
INDIO, California — The desert evening air cooled the hot acts and dense crowds Saturday at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. According to event promoters, 60,000 people were in attendance — not including the thousands of staff members working behind the scenes. The concert venue stretches across a polo field covering nearly 10 acres with five stages.
