What do you do with the Styrofoam left over from your gadgets? We usually keep it littered about the office until someone gets hurt and/or starts yelling. Artist Michael Salter has undoubtedly found a better use.
As part of an automaton-themed exhibit at the San Jose Museum of Art, Salter has constructed a 22-ft tall robot made of the annoying packing material. The video above chronicles Salter and his team assembling the behemoth for the exhibit.
Salter describes his work as, "an attempt to slow down the torrid flow of informationi and infinitely rethink meaning, narrative, perception and thought."
