Universal Switches to Blu-ray

Universal Pictures, one of the last HD-DVD holdouts, has now officially switched to the winner of the HD war, Blu-ray. Universal's home entertainment boss, Craig Kornblau:

The emergence of a single, high-definition format is cause for consumers, as well as the entire entertainment industry, to celebrate.

We agree. And might we also point out that the porn industry isn't quite the techno-seer it is often touted to be. When the smut merchants backed HD-DVD, it was seen as the end of the HD war. Looks like even the porn studios can back the wrong ponygirl sometimes.
