M. Night Shyamalan’s latest movie is ripped from the headlines… well, sort of. In Shyamalan’s take, Israeli Acute Paralysis Virus isn’t what’s causing honeybees to disappear, but rather [possible spoiler alert!] an invisible neurotoxin unleashed by the Earth’s vegetation that causes death in all those who breathe it. Far out. At right you’ll find the trailer for The Happening. It’s an interesting premise, but Mark Wahlberg’s horrendous acting made it hard for me to get through these 2.5 minutes; I can’t imagine getting through 2.5 hours!
