Ram-hae Keum and Jung-Jin So designed a rubbery desk grommet bristling with cord-trapping nodules: an obvious idea, perfectly implemented.
Why can these not not already be bought? I'd buy a box of ten, immediately, if someone actually out there would get on with it and cut the rubber. Even the grommet lords of Mockett.com don't make anything like it.
Standard wire-clamping grommets are ugly, fingertip-raping nasties like this:

Belkin makes some cool grommets, but they're really high-tend, packing in stuff like iPod docks and other expensive accouterments. What I like about Keum and So's design is that it's still something you could expect to pay just a couple of bucks for — Belkin charging $40 for a USB hub grommet is almost comical.
