The Republican National Committee has released this character assassination video that targets Hillary Clinton just moments after the results were called for the Democratic presidential contender in the New Hampshire primary.

It's just the latest online salvo the committee has fired off against Clinton. The committee has spent the past few months building up the negative narrative online about the candidate among its base. That message is primed to become more effective with the recent re-launch of the RNC's site, which has been enhanced with social networking tools.

Titled "RNC Chairman Comments on the New Hampshire Primary Results," it's quick, but dirty:

The message, however, sounds strangely canned, stale and hollow given the billions that the Bush Administration has spent on the Iraq war itself, and exit polling data coming out of New Hampshire this evening showing that much of the sentiment driving voters was a deep dissatisfaction with the Bush Administration.

"Almost two-thirds of Democrats polled (65 percent) said they were "angry" with the Bush administration. And almost half of Republicans, (49 percent) said they were angry or dissatisfied with the Bush administration," reports CNN.

Will the strong emotions of Hillary-hatred among the Republicans, captured and enhanced by social networking technologies, gain as much momentum as the Obama movement, which has been powered in the opposite direction by just-as-strong emotions of inspiration and hope?

Update: Meanwhile, the Democratic National Committee also launched its own, more muted attack against New Hampshire Republican victor John McCain.
