Devo Lends Geek Chic to Microsoft Party at Macworld 2008

Returning to San Francisco's Warfield Theatre for the first time since 1981, proto-geek band Devo performed at a party hosted by Microsoft's Macintosh business unit, on the second evening of Macworld 2008.

The band played the first few songs in disposable HAZMAT suits and their famous "Energy Dome" headwear. During the set, the domes came off and the suits were destroyed, revealing black T-shirts, black socks and knee pads.Photo: Lane Hartwell
