New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson plans on dropping out of the race for the Democratic nomination for president, the *Associated Press *is reporting.
Richardson came fourth in the New Hampshire primary Tuesday evening. Though he had a loyal group of supporters (many of whom are in the engineering community,) and had hired one of the top media teams in Washington DC, he was never able to gain the buzz and traction to propel him to the top.
The AP says that he plans on making the announcement on Thursday.
