Apple's pioneering (as in returning to camp with a lot of arrows in your back) Newton has risen from the grave to attack its handsome successor. Judah Klausner, who bills himself as "the inventor of the PDA" for his role in designing the Newton, is suing Apple and AT&T for alleged patent infringement.

Klausner claims that the iPhone's vocie mail system violates patents he owns for retrieving voice messages via various devices. He's looking for $350 million in damages and future royalties.
