Samsung has announced two new point-and-shoot cameras aimed at the low end of the market. The S760 is a 7.2-megapixel model; the S860 bumps that up to 8.1 megapixels. Both have 3x zoom, image stabilization, face detection, a "special effects" mode and enhanced menus that describe various shooting modes.
Both arrive in January, priced at $169 for the S760 and $179 for the S860.
