LG Phlilips says it has come up with a new coating that will help laptop displays resist fingerprints, dust and assorted other screen-obscuring goo. A company tech says the substance is similar to the non-stick coating on a piece of cookware and is reliable enough that even ink marks will wipe away.
Philips says it plans to introduce it on 15.4-inch laptop displays early next year and expand it to all portable displays by the end of the year.
